One concept I teach and practice regularly, is that everything that happens to us is helpful to us in some way. Every experience is valid and necessary to create an environment that will help you reach your potential. No matter how obnoxious, regretful or traumatic, each is invaluable. It’s designed to teach us something important about ourselves. If you’re frustrated, great! You are in the middle of something important! Often times, the more frustrating, aggravating and positively absurd a situation, the more significant the solution and the deeper the learning. In our efforts to be great, we must remember that the greatest successes are often preceded by our greatest failures. Our ability to persevere is what keeps us in the game.
